Ceramic Coating in Massapequa, Long Island
We apply ceramic coating to cars in our own bay in Massapequa, Long Island: a hydrophobic layer over the paint for gloss and easier washing. We tell you which coating goes on the car, and why, before we open it.

Gloss You Keep Between Washes
A ceramic coating is a liquid layer applied to the paint, which cures into a hard, slick film. Water beads and runs off, dirt has less to hold on to, and the paint keeps its gloss between washes.
How long it lasts depends on preparation, use and maintenance. Preparation matters because the coating locks in whatever is under it. Swirls and scratches stay visible under a coating, which is why paint correction often comes first.

Ceramic Coating Questions
How long does a ceramic coating last?
It depends on preparation, use and maintenance: how the paint was prepared, how the car is driven and stored, and how it gets washed. Washing is the part you control, and we go over it with you at pickup.
Is ceramic coating the same as paint protection film?
No. A coating is a thin layer for gloss, water beading and easier washing. Paint protection film is a thicker clear film which takes the hit from rock chips. The two work together: film on the areas which take chips, a coating for gloss.
Does a coating stop rock chips and scratches?
No coating stops rock chips. It adds a slick layer which makes washing easier and helps keep the gloss. For chip protection, look at paint protection film.
Do I need paint correction before a coating?
If the paint has swirl marks, light scratches or oxidation, correcting it first means the coating seals in a better finish. Paint correction is multi-stage machine polishing, and we do it in the same shop.
What does a ceramic coating cost?
It depends on the vehicle and the work you want. You get the plan and the price in your quote before anything starts, and the quote costs nothing.
Where is the shop, and which towns do you serve?
We are at 21B Brooklyn Ave, Massapequa, NY 11758. Nearby towns each have a page with the distance and the route: Massapequa Park, Seaford, Wantagh, Amityville, Bethpage, Farmingdale and Levittown.
